Our Climate Our Future

This sustainable agriculture lesson utilizes research from the students and has them teach the class their specific technique, and then allows for creativity in solving a problem they see in a specific location of their choosing.

This learning activity takes two 45 minute class periods.

  • The activity could be adapted to be completed online, but it is preferable to be done in person.

  • The science is sound, relevant, and easy to grasp. The resource is not geographically specific, allowing the science of regenerative agriculture to be better understood through a variety of locations.
  • Students identify various regenerative agriculture methods, become "experts" in one topic, and share with the class. Background reading is present and thorough, and includes Indigenous origins of regenerative agriculture.
