CLEAN Network - 2017 and Beyond

As the CLEAN Network has grown in its membership and range of activities as well as it visibility over the past years, it has become apparent that there is a need to have a broader leadership structure and reliable infrastructure support. This has become even more critical because of a new opportunity that has arisen for me. Many of you already know that I will be a Fellow in Harvard's Advanced Leadership Initiative in 2017. In order to have the work and activities of the CLEAN Network continue forward smoothly while I am on leave we have done a number of things. These include forming a CLEAN Network Leadership Board which has voted to join the Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) as a cluster; and distributing responsibilities for ongoing CLEAN Network activities to volunteers (members of the CLEAN Network Leadership Board) that will be coordinated by our ESIP Fellow, Johanna Bozuwa, with oversight by the CLEAN Network co-chairs Frank Niepold and Anne Gold.

I will describe these efforts in more detail during our discussion. An outline of what will be covered and slides describing the Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) are linked.
