Summary

Interested in using InTeGrate materials, but not sure where to start? Join us for this webinar, led by Anne Egger (Central Washington University), to learn about how to effectively utilize InTeGrate materials in your classroom. The webinar will highlight recently developed, thoroughly tested, data-rich activities that provide learning outcomes, embedded assessment tools, and instructor stories from a variety of institution types.

Goals:

The goals of this webinar are to:
  • Familiarize you with InTeGrate' guiding principles and how they are manifest in the materials;
  • Help you envision how to incorporate the guiding principles into your existing course;
  • Introduce you to resources to help you incorporate the materials into your course.
By the end of the webinar, you will have strategies for moving forward with adopting and adapting InTeGrate materials into your teaching.

Presenter

Anne Egger is an assistant professor at Central Washington University, where she has a joint appointment in Geological Sciences and Science Education. She teaches a variety of courses in both departments, including an introductory Earth science course for pre-service teachers, field methods and structural geology for geology majors, and a teaching seminar for graduate students. She was recently appointed the Director of the Office of Undergraduate Research.
