Global Climate Change Education Exchange (GCCEE)
This project will use educational research findings to deliver science curricular materials, taking advantage of NASA's unique contributions to climate change research. IGES will use tools and experience gained in building the Earth System Science Education Alliance (ESSEA) - a national network of colleges and universities engaged in science teacher education and professional development. The IGES team, including ESSEA faculty, will develop global climate change modules and disseminate them through the 1) ESSEA network, a collaboration of 40+ universities; 2) workshops at conferences; and 3) events offered over the Digital Learning Network and ePD offered to the NASA Explorer Schools (with 200+ underserved schools).
