From Earth to Sky: Student Experiential Learning in Global Climate Change

James Spotila

Drexel University

Drexel University will integrate a team of faculty, teachers from the Philadelphia School District, and graduate students to engage undergraduate and high school students in hands on learning about global climate change. This project will be an innovative application of a successful model for STEM education that we have developed over several years. Drexel University will institutionalize global climate change education, add experiential learning to these courses, extend that approach to regional colleges through outreach and e-learning, and provide hands on training to undergraduates and high school students in global climate change.
