Emissions paths

Three scenarios showing the amount that emissions need to decline in order to stay below the 2 degree (C) threshold. The later we wait to seriously curb greenhouse gas emissions, the steeper the decline needs to be. Another way of looking at this is the sooner we start, the more time we have to accomplish the necessary amount of reductions.
